I just came back from Maldives but since I’ve only been to 3 out of its 1,200 gorgeous islands, I would love to go back again.

Unless you have time to take a vacation to recover from your vacation, long haul flights are out of the question with a 20-month toddler in tow. Thank goodness for the host of Indonesian islands found just a short ferry ride away—from Nikoi in the East to Telunas in the West. Alaska will just have to wait.

I’ve been wanting to do a road trip with my family for a while. And it seems like New Zealand would be ideal, especially to visit Gibbs Farm at Kaipara Harbour, the place where lots of amazing big-scale sculptures are being housed.

My husband and I have made it a point to head somewhere with an abundance of nature once a year—to get away from city life, and to immerse outselves with what Mother Nature has given us. To trek through the unique landscapes and learn more about Tibetan culture is our goal this year.

Thanks to Terrace House: Aloha State, Hawaii has made it to the top of my must-go list this year. Punch Bowl Coffee, 88 Tees and Giovanni’s Shrimp Truck, here I come!

I’ve been wanting to go to Morocco for the longest time ever, so here’s hoping 2018 is the year this trip finally materialises! The first stop on my itinerary: The Musée Yves Saint Laurent in Marrakech. I’m a huge fan of the late designer, so to be able to see and study his life’s works up close will be an enlightening—and humbling—affair.

Two words sum up my ultimate holiday no matter the year: Tropical. Paradise. And Siargao, a stunning teardrop-shaped island in the Philippines is all that and more. It’s where I want to learn how to surf (I’ve read the swells here are something else); plunge into natural rock pools; and dive deep into rich, diverse reefs—the only thing more peaceful than lounging on the white sand beach with a fresh coconut or pomelo-gin cocktail is being submerged in the powerful silence of the ocean.

I’ve longed to visit Mongolia for some years now. Be it camel riding in the Gobi or glamping in a yurt under the stars, Mongolia is home to gorgeous landscapes and idyllic nomads who live fascinating lives—and I would love to experience it all in 2018.

Barcelona is definitely on my list of places to visit this year. Sunshine, amazing architecture, and the food—it’s going to be a fabulous (and Instagrammable) experience!

Istanbul, Turkey has been in my bucket list for the longest time. I just want to bask in the rich culture, architecture and natural wonders. From marvelling at the magnificent Sultan Ahmed Mosque to finding treasures at the Grand Bazaar, perhaps this year I will tick this one off my list.
