2016 is set to be a art-filled year! Joining the roster of Singaporean art shows is the inaugural Singapore Contemporary Art Show 2016. Previously held only in Hong Kong, the art show makes its way to our shores the first time and it is not to be missed. Featuring a roster of emerging and established artists from the region, the art show provides a platform for these artists to be brought to the discerning eyes of collectors in Southeast Asia. Enthusiasts will recognise art stars from around the region such as Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama and Korean artist Kwon Kisoo, who will be exhibiting their works here as part of the art show this year.

“As well as the Show itself, with its unique presentations of ‘China Encounters,’ ‘Artist Dialogues,’ an impressive Indonesian Pavilion and some exceptional installation art, we are delighted to present an enriching program of events and activities at the inaugural edition,” says Show Director, Douwe Cramer. “Our comprehensive art tour program, live painting demonstrations and events for children, offer accessible, educational and fun activities designed to interest both adults and children, and experienced collectors through to newer art buyers.”

The Singapore Contemporary Art Show 2016 will be held from 21 to 24 January 2016, at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre. For more information, please visit www.singaporecontemporary.com
