What a night the Emmys 2015 turned out to be! All our favourite TV stars turned out in full force and the red carpet looks were one of the most varied and daring, albeit glamorous, that we have seen all year. The standout looks of the night included Empire‘s Taraji P. Henson, who sashayed up the red carpet in a custom Alexander Wang dress that took rock chic to new heights, Sofia Vergara was ever the bombshell and showed off her gorgeous hourglass curves in a figure-hugging champagne gold number, and Lady Gaga went the old Hollywood look with her perfectly coiffed platinum mane and sleek black gown.
Putting some sparkle on the red carpet were Christina Hendricks in an elaborate but edgy black and gold gown and Kerry Washington, who took it short and silver with her dress, while Emma Roberts practically shone in her understated Grecian gown that exuded grown-up glamour.
On the other end of the colour spectrum, these stars brought the colour in Technicolour back to Hollywood. Claire Danes was absolutely stunning in her Prada dress (which gave us nautical resort vibes), Orange Is The New Black‘s Laverne Cox turned the thermostat up by a few notches in her sexy turquoise dress, while January Jones was spring fresh in her brilliant green jumpsuit and Sarah Hyland went for an off-shoulder, wine red gown that looked fabulous on the Modern Family actress.
