While most of you would have heard that local label In Good Company has opened its first store at ION Orchard—if you've been following us on Twitter, that is—but have you got any idea what the store will be carrying? Sprawled across 3,300 square feet, the store was conceptualised as a lifestyle store by the team behind In Good Company together with interior design agency Traart, and is the new home to the brand's womenswear and accessories collections, as well as their their adorable Mini Me line for fashionable tots. Inspired by the neo-modern and minimalist movement, the store is all light, bright and open space—perfect for a fuss-free, relaxing retail experience. Of course, that's all nice to look at and take Instagrams of, but what can one actually look forward to when visiting the store? Here are three things that you can look out to on a visit to the store.
1. In Good Company's full range of clothes and accessories
We're seriously impressed with the full range of chic and wearable clothes that the In Good Company team have come up with (a far cry from their offerings at other department stores) and we can see their line of necklaces and accessories made of recycled materials gaining popularity for their bold shapes and interesting fabrications.

2. The In Good Company café managed by Plain Vanilla Bakery
With its lushly green overhanging plants provided by local florist Triceratops, and the geometric communal tables designed by Nathan Yong of Folks Furniture, the café is a hidden oasis in the basement of the shopping mall. The best part: It will be operated and managed by the good folks behind Plain Vanilla Bakery, who will be supplying coffee, cakes and, for the first time, comforting sandwiches. Definitely a reason to pop by just for a cuppa, or two.

3. The selection of Asian brands represented
Other than their own main line, it is great to see the store carrying products from other Asian labels that are not easily available in Singapore. One such brand is Hong Kong-based Hoiming, who has worked with the IGC team on a capsule collection of tote bags made of canvas and leather, available exclusively at the store. To round up the selection, IGC is also carrying books and magazines from Magpie and independent printing company Math Paper Press.
