When Beyoncé and Jay-Z, kick-started their On the Run Tour II on Wednesday evening in Cardiff, fans were treated to sentimental footage of the power couple seemingly renewing their wedding vows.
The sentimental montage depicted Beyoncé in a cascading veil while the couple’s children – Blue Ivy, Rumi and Sir – donned what appeared to bridesmaid and page boy attire.

Now, the Beyhive will be pleased to learn that there’s proof behind the whispers.
A press release written on behalf of haute couture designer, Galia Lahav, confirms that the songstress wore the label for her quote: ‘vow renewals’.
Known as the ‘Thelma’ gown, the dress hails from the brand’s ‘Victorian Affinity’ line and features billowing sleeves and sheer panels. Inspired by Queen Victoria’s 1840 wedding gown, the garment is reminiscent of the era with a Swarovski-embellished corset and heavily-embellished train.
The A-list couple first tied the knot a decade ago and the singer wore a cold-shoulder gown designed by her mother, Tina Lawson. But Beyoncé famously regretted her debut wedding dress.

Back in 2016, Lawson revealed on the Today show: “She was so sweet to let me do that. She came back later one day and she said, ‘You know, when my daughter gets married, I’m going to let her pick out her own dress.’ Maybe she wasn’t so excited about it at the time, but she’s a sweetheart.”
Thankfully, the songstress found a second chance to celebrate the couple’s love and this time, their three children could share the big day.
