British luxury fashion label Alexander McQueen has launched a photography project on Instagram, titled McQueen Creative Community, to invite followers to submit photographs inspired by nature. The House will also release a series of images shot during self-isolation by commissioned photographers including longtime collaborators and emerging talents around the globe.
The brief is simple: photograph their perceived concept of nature, upload the image on Instagram, tag them at @AlexanderMcQueen and hashtag #McQueenCreators and #McQueenNature. A selection of the best images will be featured on the brand’s Instagram profile.

“I’ve always been inspired by nature—it’s a thread which runs through everything we create at McQueen. The most important thing now is for us to reconnect with nature. These pictures are a reflection of that thought.” said creative director Sarah Burton in a statement.
