Alexander McQueen is making the move from Paris to London Fashion Week for its Fall 2016 collection. The London-based fashion house typically shows during the Paris Fashion Week calendar but is returning to its Brit roots in founder Lee McQueen’s hometown for one season only.
The brand took to Twitter to announce the change-up this morning, indicating that the show would be returning to London for its Fall 2016 collection only. Representatives did not divulge if this season’s show would specifically pay homage to Lee McQueen but it sounds like something special could be in the works. Alexander McQueen Fall 2016 is slated to show on Sunday, February 21st at 7 PM.
