Alexander Wang’s Spring 2017 show was filled with plenty of unexpected surprises—Madonna and daughter Lourdes sitting front row, pop-up McDonald’s and 7-11 trucks at the after party, performances by Desiigner, Skrillex and Tyga and the most surprising of them all: a top-secret collaboration with adidas Originals that hit the runway.
The designer unveiled the collaboration with a mysterious short film that was played at the show, before a lineup of models wearing the pieces stormed the runway.

The adidas Originals by Alexander Wang collection will feature 84 pieces of unisex pieces including apparel and footwear—all marked with the trademark adidas logo flipped upside down. In the nature of the see-now, buy-now movement, the first nine styles from the collection will be available to shop today—but getting your hands on them won’t exactly come easy.

The first batch of the collaboration will be available exclusively by way of a pop-up truck making its way through NYC today. The truck will make three stops in Soho, Midtown and Williamsburg. The times and locations of the truck will be revealed by calling 917-325-3342 and following @adidasOriginals and @AlexanderWangNY on Instagram and Snapchat. On September 17th the trucks will pop up internationally making stops in both London and Tokyo.
As for the full collaboration, that won’t be available to shop globally until Spring 2017, so you better get your pop-up truck chasing gear on today…
