A Fresh, Sexy Take On Spring's Favourite Blooms At Dries Van Noten Spring/Summer 2023
What started as a sea of black, cool and sleek silhouettes metamorphosed into a soft mix of pastels and sheer layers.
At Dries Van Noten, what started as a sea of black, cool, spare silhouettes of exacting cuts and splices metamorphosed into a soft mix of pastels and sheer layers. For the finale, flowers blossomed miniskirts, long, languid layers and pretty blouses festooned with corsages and frilled layers on top.
Of course this being Dries Van Noten meant that masculine shirts appeared as mini striped numbers worn large, crisp and nonchalant, while oversized padded '80s blazers in sombre shades sealed all the floral looks with a cool, easy vibe. Mules with Perspex heels and flamboyant ribboned fronts made a feminine yet smart counterpoint to the prettiness above. This was a fresh sexy take on spring’s favourite blooms.
