While most fashion labels presented their Fall/Winter 2023 collections during fashion week in February, Marc Jacobs unveiled his collection on Monday night at the New York Public Library. It was worth the wait, though it was over before it began.

The clothes zoomed by—models did two finale laps in three minutes before Jacobs took his bow—a “deliberate choice” by the designer to highlight “the gracious demeanor of the modern woman” down the runway in predominantly black and white.
