J.W. Anderson has made history by winning both the Womenswear and Menswear Designer of the Year awards at tonight’s British Fashion Awards.
Karl Lagerfeld took home the top honour of the night, receiving the Outstanding Achievement award for his decades of contribution to the fashion industry.
Meanwhile Lady Gaga was on hand to collect the Red Carpet award for close friend Tom Ford, while Olivier Rousteing also presented his close friend Jourdan Dunn with the Model of the Year prize.
The highlight of the evening came however when Joanna Lumley and Jennifer Saunders took to the stage in character as Patsy and Edina from Absolutely Fabulous, presenting Stella McCartney with the Brand of the Year award.
