Anne Hathaway Just Revived The Virtual Red Carpet With A Major Ruffled Number From Ralph & Russo

We love a lady in red.

Anne Hathaway took to Instagram to show off her majorly glam "red-carpet" look for the world premiere of her new film, The Witches, and the actress went all out for the virtual affair. While posing on the dusk-lit rooftop of Harrods in London, Hathaway wore a stunning ruffled gown courtesy of Ralph & Russo to celebrate the release of her latest movie, as seen in images captured by photographer Greg Williams.

"🔮No premiere, no problem🔮," wrote Hathaway on Instagram alongside the shots. "I hope you all enjoy Robert Zemeckis's reimagining of #TheWitchesMovie, streaming on @HBOMax today!"

Hathaway let the gown speak for itself and accessorised solely with a pair of simple diamond stud earrings. Her beauty glam for the evening included her brunette locks sculpted into a chic chignon style with front side bangs sweeping across her forehead, dark kohl-winged liner, and matching deep-red lipstick. In another photo shared on Williams's Instagram account, Hathaway posed with her arms up in the air, nodding to her role as the starring sinister witch in the flick.

Hathaway's latest film switched from a delayed debut in theaters due to the COVID-19 pandemic to a straight-to-streaming premiere via HBO Max. The movie reimagines the 1983 Roald Dahl novel and the original 1990 Anjelica Huston film for a new generation, with Hathaway starring as the Grand High Witch. Chris Rock, Octavia Spencer, Kristin Chenoweth, and Hathaway's former The Devil Wears Prada costar Stanley Tucci all costar.
