Phoebe Philo inked a deal with 80-year-old author Joan Didion looking the epitome of cool in a pair of oversize black Céline shades. Dolce&Gabbana went a step further and had adorable grandmothers toting the brand’s signature embellished accessories. Not to be outdone, Hedi Slimane announced singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell as his latest muse for the Saint Laurent Music Project. He photographed her in her Bel-Air home wearing a leather cape he created especially for her.
