So much can be said about Alexander Wang's last show for the house—from the music stating his return to California to the sweet innocent cream offerings that were part naive girl, part Californian babes in the bedroom. Flat slippers not unlike Chinese bedroom slippers came in the same tones of cream but sheer and embroidered for that touch of Balenciaga luxe. The lingerie-meets-silk slips-meets-romper dressing was all wipe-the-slate clean cream and looked marvellous in a chapel-like arena with a baptism font down the centre of the runway, a blessing from the heavens for a pretty season where these relaxed beautiful dresses and offerings will make the cash tills ring. We can only pray.
