Can you believe another year has gone by? My little girl has grown so fast, it’s a struggle buying clothes to keep up. And as for me? I’ve not been to a boutique in what feels like forever. Oh, Santa, for Christmas it would be so nice to have a brand new outfit or two to flaunt during the festivities.
All the best,
The Modern Mother
A pair of easy slides and sunnies will be my go-to during the morning rush to kindergarten.
THAT FUZZY FEELING
Who said keeping warm can’t be cute? Especially for the little girl’s first trip abroad.
This festive silver outfit will be a nice change of pace from princess-y pastels and fairy wings.
Reflective lenses and a starry clutch add instant, fuss-free shine to an otherwise simple outfit—I have to minimise accessorising just in case the little one tugs on them!
OUT ON THE TOWN
Mums need a night off too, and an ankle-grazing dress will hide the fact that I’m wearing heels. A lace take on the classic biker jacket silhouette makes for the perfect cover-up as well.
A beautifully made shift dress and embellished shoulder bag, because they’re never too young to learn about fashion.
Plush toys are constantly in or hanging off my bags, so why not get ones that match?
CAT IN THE BAG
My little jungle cat is ready to graduate from her leopard onesie to a faux-fur chubby and kitty crossbody bag.
EYES ON YOU
These mummy and me flats make her feel all grown up, while myself, a little younger. It’s a fun balance.
