The nineties and noughties had some questionable fashion moments, but there are some trends that have proven to be enduring. From the revival of the baker boy hat to the cowboy boot, the mini-bag to the PVC sandal, there are many pieces we loved to wear back then which have returned with a 2019 update.

Bella Hadid is the latest to pay homage to the era, by bringing back one of the most defining items of that time, the halter-neck top. Hadid teamed her halter-neck with wide-leg '70s-style jeans and piled on gold statement jewellery to watch the sunset.

Nineties icons such as Paris Hilton were regularly spotted sporting the halter-neck or other popular 'going-out tops', normally worn with low-rise jeans and accessorised with a mini-bag.
