In case, you've missed it, a new Miss Universe was crowned yesterday: Iris Mittenaere of France took home the title, making it the second time France has won the title, and the first European winner since 2002. But we're not here to discuss her momentous win today. Rather, we're looking at the big hits and misses of the national costume segment. It is traditional for each country to present a costume that best represents their culture during Miss Universe, and it is also the one segment that has us glued to the screen every time (swimsuit segment, be damned!).
