The 2020 MTV Europe Music Awards may have taken place virtually in the midst of the pandemic, but it didn't stop stars from making show-stopping appearances from different parts of the world. From the girls of Little Mix who hosted the pre-recorded event in London to the chart-topping Doja Cat who performed in Los Angeles, check out what your favourite celebrities wore on the red carpet.

Zara Larsson

Zara Larsson shook things up on the MTV EMAs red carpet in a sultry custom Versace mini-dress, and amped up the look with jewelry by BVLGARI.

Alicia Keys

Alicia Keys took mask-wearing to a whole other level in this full-face bejeweled balaclava paired together with a matching crop top, khaki joggers and a plush hoodie.

Doja Cat

Doja Cat shone on the 2020 MTV EMAs red carpet in a black long tulle 4G embroidered slip A-line dress with crystals embroidery, paired with matching gloves, purple knee-high socks and black leather chain pumps with silver studs from Givenchy's latest Spring/Summer 2021 collection. For her live performance where she gave us a metal-rock interpretation of her hit single, Say So, Doja wore a custom dress by the emerging Black-owned fashion label, Eyanatia.

Leigh-Anne Pinnock

Little Mix's Leigh-Anne Pinnock posed on the red carpet in a custom Luis De Javier monogrammed dress.

Rita Ora

Rita Ora sported a playful yellow tulle mini-dress by Giambattista Valli, giving us all-round positive vibes. She finished off with some gold accessories and a black headband with a netted veil.

On the red carpet, Little Mix's Perrie Edwards wore a v-neck blazer-styled leotard with blue tulle and black tights.

Madison Beer

Madison Beer looked equal parts glam and sexy in a chocolate-hued custom minidress by Vivienne Westwood, paired together with matching thigh-high boots.

Jade Thirlwall

Jade Thirwall of Little Mix wore a Saint Laurent mini-dress with bold shoulders and strappy black heels.
