After making history at Coachella, BLACKPINK‘s Jennie is making her Met Gala debut in New York City. The K-pop star and Chanel ambassador—a front row fixture at the maison’s shows since her appointment in 2017—arrived at the Met Gala honoring the fashion house’s late creative director Karl Lagerfeld.

One of the last muses of Karl Lagerfeld, Jennie was decked out in vintage Chanel from the ’90s. The recreated look comprised a white minidress cinched in the waist with a black belt adorned with the house’s iconic white camellia flower, black tights, and black pumps. She finished off with a black choker, diamond earrings, and black gloves. Jennie also wore a camellia on her hair.

Following fellow BLACKPINK member Rosé‘s attendance at the Met Gala in 2021 alongside South Korean rapper CL, this marks Jennie’s first-ever Met Gala. South Korean actress Song Hye-kyo, who posed for photos with Jennie, also surprised fans with her attendance at the star-studded event.
