Under the creative direction of Daniel Lee, Bottega Veneta has successfully silenced critics and thrilled loyalist by offering some of the most coveted items, from ready-to-wear to accessories such as handbags and shoes. Lee, who recently celebrated his second anniversary with the house, has successfully stayed true to the house’s heritage while elevating its offerings.

The year 2020 has seen the issue of inclusivity brought to the fore of the fashion industry and the Italian label has taken notice. Bottega Veneta’s short film— titled Bottega Veneta: Men—was created to “celebrate uniqueness and individuality, storied through a cast of unique personalities who inspire Daniel.”

A group of multidisciplinary artists such as actor Barry Keoghan, director Dick Jewell, painter George Rouy, musician Neneh Cherry, dancer Roberto Bolle, among many others, were brought together to “share their perspectives on identity, masculinity and their relationship with clothing.”

Directed and shot by photographer and filmmaker Tyrone Lebon the film addresses how clothing helps to shape the artistes’ identities and what being a man means to them.
