Burberry has announced its plan to reveal the production process of its Spring 2016 campaign on social media channel Snapchat. On top of enlisting celebrity photographer Mario Testino to lens the traditional campaign, the photographer will also be getting snap-happy on Burberry’s Snapchat account, giving fans and followers an inside look at the making of the campaign in London. The brand will start uploading photos and videos today starting from 5pm London time (5am Singapore time) and the story will be available for 24 hours on the social media app.
Previously for the Spring 2016 collection, Burberry also offered followers a preview on the social media channel before the runway show, and has been tying up more with them to reach a larger (and younger) audience. One thing’s for sure: Burberry is killing it at this social media game.
