In celebration of International Women’s Day, Net-A-Porter is launching six exclusive T-shirt Designs to raise funds for Women for Women International. Following the success of last year’s initiative, this IWD, the luxury e-retailer has collaborated with 6 inspiring female designers who continually empower the female community through their platforms.
The collection includes six different designs by Victoria Beckham, Isabel Marant, Ellery, Alexa Chung, Rosie Assoulin and Perfect Moment, with all proceeds directly benefitting Women For Women International. Founded in 1993, Women for Women’s non-profit organization has helped nearly half a million women in war-torn countries rebuild their lives by providing necessary resources to enable the move from poverty to stability as well as to build a lasting band of sisterhood.
Each tee features a message of support, encouragement and celebration of women. Click through the gallery below to see the designs and the messages behind them.
“I am so happy to support International Women’s Day this year by creating this ‘I am her’ tee exclusively for NET-A-PORTER. It’s more important than ever that women support each other and hopefully this aids in raising awareness for a subject close to my heart.

“International Women’s Day is such a focal point of modern-day Womens’ rights, and our design speaks to the united empowerment that women of today feel. Power represents everything Perfect Moment stands for, from technical and powerful fabrics used in several of our pieces; to the powerful women with a strong passion and skill for outdoor sports.”

“My feminist fight is about equality: equal treatment, equal pay, equal opportunities… I thought we would be over this by now, but we’re not. Culture, knowledge and education are our paths to empowerment and justice. The fight is not over. You Go, Girl!”

“Women have always been important figures in my life, I am so grateful for all they have done to bring us to this place.”

“As part of a community of women which is now a global sisterhood, it was a great honour to be asked to design a t-shirt alongside other women who I admire to celebrate a day that marks a moment in the year when we have an opportunity to reflect how far we have come and how important it is to raise each other up in order to get where we are going.”

Rosie Assoulin shares the concept behind the T-shirt, worn by Nicole Kidman, in an Instagram post: “Nicole Kidman wears the message “happy international women’s day” written in binary, the most elemental of coding languages. Last year, we translated across languages, including French, Spanish, Hebrew, Arabic, and Mandarin, to promote a message of unity among women of all nations and backgrounds using love. Today we turn our attention to the much-needed gender education gap promoting coding and tech literacy for girls and women. The language of the future needs women’s voices to be heard. “
