The maison adapts to the new normal

The Chanel Cruise 2020/ 2021 collection, titled Balade en Méditerranée, was originally planned to be showcased in Capri—Virginie Viard's first collection outside of Paris. In adapting to the new normal amid the current pandemic, Chanel has unveiled the collection on its digital platforms—the first maison to reimagine its Cruise show.

Comprising easy, fluid and multi-purpose separates that are versatile as they are refined, the collection was conceived with the free, laid-back allure of the legendary actresses of the 1960s who would spend their summer holidays on the Italian and the French Riviera.
