Get To Know: Princess Sirivannavari, Thailand's Most High-Profile Young Royal

With the passing of Thailand's King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the country's monarchy faces a potential identity crisis. Having withdrawn from life in the spotlight during his twilight years, public curiosity has instead been trained on the daughter of future ruler Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn, the Princess Sirivannavari.

Since her first appearance at Chanel's Spring 2008 show, she has become a regular at Paris Fashion Week, generating more column inches than most of her family members combined. An equestrienne, SEA gold medal winner in badminton, and a fashion designer to boot, the Princess' relatively high profile is noteworthy in a nation known for its strict lèse-majesté laws.
