This Christmas, Belgian leather goods brand Delvaux has taken an unexpectedly lavish course for its Poussière D’Etoiles holiday capsule, finding inspiration in the richly decorative work of painter Gustav Klimt. The house’s simple, understated shapes come to life in bright gold, an homage to the Viennese artist’s Golden Phase at the turn of the century. The collection’s Yellow gold, palladium and rose gold finishes come shiny or brushed, imbuing the opulent sparkle with subtlety and depth.
