If you follow Dior on Instagram, you might be pleasantly surprised to find a new addition to your collection of IG story filters. The luxury fashion House recently teamed up with creative content studio The Mill to launch an AR filter on its Instagram account, allowing followers to visually try out the DiorSolight Sunglasses range.

Exclusive to followers of Dior, the filter maps a virtual model of both the new sunglasses and its double headband products onto the users face, allowing them to visualize how they might look in the products without physically having to try them on.

It’s not the first time the House has ventured into AR – they launched a similar filter last September to promote their DiorColourQuake sunglasses. As Dior continues to break the barriers between designer and consumers, it is revolutionizing the way we shop and the way we once played dress up.
