In celebration of its annual theme, ‘In The Pursuit Of Dreams’, luxury French house Hermès set off on a special journey to Tromsø, Norway, where the midsummer sun never sets. Held from June 11 to 12, the magical getaway was a culmination of the best of what the northern paradise has to offer.
Guests were treated to extraordinary arctic scenography; traditional folk music with a contemporary spin (including a haunting performance by composer, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Sigrún who is known for her work with artists such as Björk, Florence and the Machine, and Sigur Ròs); and sustainable nordic cuisine that honours the land and sea.

“Cause am leaving on a jet plane, don’t know when I’ll be back again…” that classic song from John Denver rang true when @hermes captured the worlds press for a once-in-a-lifetime experience to visit a land where the sun never sets. Trekking through the wilderness in Norway to a tiny archipelago just outside Tromsø, Musvær is an extraordinary arctic lagoon north of the Norwegian sea. Taken right to the edge of the world during the summer solstice, see the highlights of 12hours spent in an endless day, submerged in a waking dream where there are no nights… #hermesdreams Video: @donogaga
