Can you tell us a little bit about about your relationship with Chanel?
I love working with Chanel. It is one of my favourite relationships in my life, and I just think they make the most beautiful clothes. I feel like a princess wearing them. It's really special to be able to come to Paris and watch a fashion show. It's a crazy awesome experience.
Why is couture so special for you?
I think one of the most special parts of the Chanel couture show is getting to see the bride. I actually got to be the bride once which was really a fun experience for me, that was magical and more exhilarating than I anticipated. Putting on a wedding dress, I didn't think it was going to have an effect on me, but it was very surreal.
Why is Chanel so special for you?
To me, Chanel's just very classic. And timeless. And I think that there's always been an effort to make the clothes at once very glamorous but also functional. There's so many little discreet details that make everything purposeful, from pockets to specific zippers and purses for love notes; it's all thoughtful and intentional.

Can you describe your relationship with fashion?
I think feeling good in your clothes is so important and feeling like you're representing yourself in a way that feels accurate to who you are. And being able to do that with Chanel is a dreamy experience for me.
Do you have any upcoming projects?
I have a movie coming out this fall called Drive-Away Dolls. It's Ethan Coen's first solo movie with his partner, Tricia Cooke, who's absolutely extraordinary. It's a lesbian road comedy and I did it with Geraldine Viswanathan, who I absolutely adore. And I'm really excited for it to come to theatres, and I hope people show up for it. I had the time of my life.
What are your top three favourite things to do in Paris?
My top three things to do and see in Paris would be, well, walking along this river [Seine] is pretty awesome. Like, a very long walk, it's a very long river. And eat a croissant. Those are two. Number three, go buy Chanel. Done.
