An Exclusive Look At The Making Of Dior’s Fall/Winter 2016 Show Venue

Every year, the house that Christian Dior built takes over the Cour Careé at the Louvre Palace for its ready-to-wear presentations (it seems the house has a particular affinity for palaces)—and transforms it into one of the most fantastical show venues at Paris Fashion Week. A high point of the fashion season, not to mention a magnet for millions of selfies and photo opportunities (especially with all its mirrors). This year, the house returns to its usual venue, and once again manages to transform it into a gleaming, modernist set within which the French luxury brand displayed its fall/winter 2016 collection. It literally takes an army to build the fabulous set (which you can see in the timelapse video above) and, as you can see from all the selfies, it was definitely well worth it.
