There are few situations in which fashion and technology meet to truly produce a product that’s equally desirable and functional. And that’s exactly what the Apple–Hermès Spring 2021 lineup offers—premium, artisanal-quality leather finishings synonymous with the French luxury label’s savoir-faire, incredibly reliable and efficient technology in the newly announced Apple AirTag Hermès and Apple Watch Hermès bands.
Apple AirTag Hermès
After years of speculation, Apple has finally released its highly anticipated AirTag line. It’s essentially a wireless tracker that you can attach to your frequently misplaced personal belongings and locate using Apple’s Find My App on the iPhone. And the Apple AirTag Hermès series—the Key Ring, Bag Charm, Luggage Tag and Travel Tag—feature designs inspired by the French brand’s horse-racing token holder in the early 20th century in Barénia or Swift calfskin.
Apple Watch Hermès
When it comes to watches, both brands offer something more than just a time-indicator—Hermès with its heirloom-quality timepieces featuring its signature leatherwork, while Apple presents efficiency and connectivity to the world on one’s wrist. And this collaboration offers consumers the best of both worlds—literally.
The Apple Watch Hermès Jumping series features the new single tour water-resistant band, woven in the H Vibration design and a saddlery-inspired buckle. The bands are available in five colour combinations—Rouge de Coeur/Rouge H, Kraft/Rouge de Coeur, Orange/Rose Mexico, Bleu Saphir/Orange and Noir/Bleu Saphir—and can be paired with both the 40 and 44mm case.
