Gucci is headed to Florence. The Alessandro Michele-helmed brand will present its Cruise 2018 collection at Palatina Gallery in Pitti Palace on May 29. This will mark the first fashion show ever staged at that venue.

The presentation is actually part of a bigger “cultural project” with the Uffizi Gallery museum and the city of Florence, according to WWD. Gucci is reportedly donating 2 million euros (about $2.2 million) to help restore the city’s iconic Boboli Gardens, which the Palatina Gallery overlooks, over three years.

The brand has a penchant for scoping out culturally rich venues. Last year’s cruise show took place in London’s Westminster Abbey, and the year before that, it was at the Dia Art Foundation in New York City.
