Having smashed both hit and sales records in the music, fashion and beauty industries, multi-hyphenate superstar Rihanna is reportedly in talks with LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton to launch a luxury house under her name.
According to multiple sources, LVMH has already selected employees from brands such as Louis Vuitton and Celine, to work with Rihanna and her team. The collection is expected to drop later this year alongside her ninth album, and will comprise ready-to-wear, leather goods and accessories.

This marks the first fashion brand built from scratch since Christian Lacroix was launched in 1987, and follows Rihanna’s prior collaborations with LVMH. The megastar fronted Christian Dior‘s Secret Garden IV in 2015, an ad campaign and short film shot by Steven Klein inside Versailles, and designed a range of sunglasses in collaboration with the Maison the year after. Fenty Beauty by Rihanna was also launched under Kendo, LVMH’s incubator that produces products to be retailed by Sephora.
