It appears as though Stefano Gabbana wasn't a fan of yesterday's Dior Couture show, if his latest social media comments are anything to go by.

The 54-year-old – who is no stranger to falling out with fellow designers or celebrities on social media – commented on Anna Dello Russo's clip from the show on Instagram, posting: "Ha sbagliato tutto come al solito."

Which, when translated into English, means something along the lines of: "She has gotten it all wrong as usual".

The withering remark is presumed to be aimed at Dior designer, Maria Grazia Chiuri, and was first spotted by a fashion blogger with the Twitter handle @redsequins who helpfully posted the translation on Twitter.

Meanwhile, the swathes of A-list stars who appeared to enjoy the Dior show included Kirsten Dunst, Jennifer Lawrence, Robert Pattinson and Natalie Portman.

Gabbana – who has continued to cause controversy for regularly dressing First Lady Melania Trump – also recently had a feud with Miley Cyrus regarding his politics.

After Cyrus criticised his decision to dress Trump, Gabbana snapped backed: "We are Italian and we don't care about politics and mostly neither about the American one! We make dresses and if you think about doing politics with a post it's simply ignorant. We don't need your posts or comments so next time please ignore us!! #boycottdolcegabbana."

Gabbana also enjoys posting Instagram images of D&G clothes next to apparent copycat designs, previously taking aim at Chanel and Moschino.

However, Stefano did put his hands up earlier this year and took responsibility for recreating Vivienne Westwood's 1989 SEX necklace for his own 2003 line with Domenico Dolce, saying both he and Dolce were "stupid and ignorant".
