Zayn Malik Designs A New Line Of Shoes That You'll Want Your Own Boyfriend To Wear

Zayn Malik keeps diving deeper and deeper in the fashion world. The 23-year-old singer just launched a men's shoe collection with renowned footwear designer Giuseppe Zanotti. The line, known as Giuseppe x Zayn, consists of two boots and two sneakers in neutral leathers and suedes.

The collection will be available in late January in select stores and online at giuseppezanottidesign.com. Prices range from $795 to $1,295.

"I really believe style comes from taking chances, being bold and not being afraid to express yourself," Malik said in a statement. "I feel Giuseppe does that with his collections—and I try to do that with my music."

Though surprising, the idea of the young popstar and iconic brand collaborating makes perfect sense. Zanotti even praised him as a "fashion icon" and described his style as "an easy coolness with the right amount of modern rebel."

"So when the idea came up to to collaborate, I thought 'Yes, this would work,'" Malik said. He follows Jennifer Lopez as the latest A-list celeb to team up with the designer for an exclusive line.

This is the first designer collaboration for the singer, but it certainly won't be his last. He also has a collaboration with Versus Versace in the works, set to launch in May 2017. With gigs like these, he follows in the footsteps of his girlfriend Gigi Hadid, who has already designed a line with Tommy Hilfiger last season (with another one coming in February) and an exclusive boot for Stuart Weitzman. Mailk even paid a small tribute to Hadid by naming one of the shoes in his collab "Zigi," after their couple nickname.

Get ready to see Zayn Malik on the rise in the fashion realm this year.
