Singapore Fashion Week 2017: Whole9Yards Spring 2018

A little bit of naughty and a whole lot of nice, the Whole9Yards Spring/Summer 2018 show is a masterclass in cheeky ladylike dressing. By Adriel Chiun

Whole9Yards Spring/Summer 2018

Undulating frills and Victorian scalloping informed most of the collection for Whole9Yards's Spring/Summer 2018 show – as a largely monochromatic palette of precious lace, chiffon and patent leather came alive on the runway. More than just fried carbs, ruffles, were also a mainstay in last night's showing – decorating the ends of skirts, the seams of dresses. This clever tailoring technique even punctuated a cropped, deconstructed pea coat and boasted a full sleeve of what seemed to be broderie anglaise. Styled perfectly with reflective footwear in the same stitching that dainty little chiffon socks were peeking out from. A collection perfect for Sunday roast, or an afternoon delight.
