It's official—Florence Pugh is now a Valentino DI.VA.

Of her appointment as an ambassador with the Italian label, a press statement states that “Florence was a natural choice for the brand with her eclectic personality and an outspoken advocate for being your authentic self and embracing non-conformity.”

It's easy to see why: the internet went wild when the actress attended the Valentino haute couture fall/winter 2022–23 show last July in a sheer hot pink tulle gown. Then she made a showstopping appearance at the maison's fall/winter 2023 runway show in another see-through look, cementing her status as an unapologetic fashion icon.

The news was announced concurrently with the launch of Valentino's Fall 2023 campaign titled "I Mean…It’s Rockstud!", lensed by Steven Meisel. In a series of animated portraits, Pugh's eclectic personality, insouciant attitude and fierceness shines as she conveys different emotions with the new Valentino Garavani Rockstud23 bag. Trademark of the maison, the iconic pyramid-shaped stud—inspired by metallic details seen on the Roman Palazzo—is daringly reinterpreted through new and bold designs of the Valentino Garavani Rockstud accessories.
