It wasn’t too long ago that Natalie Massanet wanted to make shopping as easy as a click of a button, and she managed to turn that dream we know as Net-A-Porter into a more than USD2.5 billion empire. Now, she’s back with The Net Set, an app aimed to socialise the shopping experience and to connect shoppers with tastemakers such as Poppy Delevingne and Giovanna Battaglia. While the app was invite-only for the past few months, Net-A-Porter has finally released the app to the public for download. Features of the app include being able to join style tribes, each headed by a member of The Net Set’s Style Council, photo-sharing, and being able to like a friend’s shared products. It’s set to be the next revolution in the fashion-technology sector and we’ve already gotten on it—so why don’t you too?
