Despite announcing her retirement from the catwalk last year (and even passing her torch over to Jimmy Fallon), Gisele Bündchen is making an exception for one very important catwalk: the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

The Brazilian supermodel will help kick off the Olympic games in her home country, WWD reports, by walking in the Opening Ceremony to be held at Rio's Maracanã Stadium.

It has also now been revealed that Katy Perry's new single 'Rise' will serve as the official anthem for the games, which begins on 5 August.
