Rooted in Art Deco and Jazz Age themes, the Armani Privé show was a cinematic showcase of ornamentation and coordination in strategic colours of red, bright blue and black. Armani unveiled an alluring collection comprising textures and surfaces that play on light, embellished tulle and netted ruffles, sculpted jackets and contoured dresses, jacquard co-ords, as well as fine fringing and subtle flares that accentuate movement. Each look was finished off with a beaded flapper hat or conical headpiece, which further brought out the decadence of the 1930s.
