Pierpaolo Piccioli continues to raise the bar for this season’s Valentino couture show with his message of inclusivity. Glorious gowns in bright colours, voluminous silhouettes and luxurious fabrics came complete with extravagant details such as feathers, sequins, ruffles, textured elements and floral prints.
The moving presentation brought show-goers (including Gwyneth Paltrow, Naomi Campbell, and Celine Dion) to their feet as Piccioli emerged to take his bow—with the atelier’s craftsmen, no less.

We shared an emotional moment with the ‘Premières d’Ateliers’ and ‘Petites Mains’ of @maisonvalentino, artisans in the atelier responsible for painstakingly creating each fine detail of the looks that came down the runway. Touchingly, creative director @pppiccioli embraced and kissed each one at the finale. A diverse model cast, and Celine Dion, Gwyneth Paltrow and Naomi Campbell along in front row also made this very special show for this #HauteCouture #PFW FW 2019/20 season. #ValentinoHauteCouture #FallWinter1920 #HarpersBazaarSG
