Here's Our Recap On The CR Runway x Luisa Via Roma Show in Italy

The CR Runway x Luisa Via Roma fashion presentation took place at the Piazzale Michelangelo in Florence, Italy, and marks Carine Roitfeld's inaugural fashion show. It was a joint effort with luxury Italian retailer Luisa Via Roma CEO Andrea Panconesi, which also celebrates the online vendor's 90th anniversary. From world renowned models Bella Hadid, Gigi Hadid, Carolina Kurkova, Doutzen Kroes, Alessandra Ambrosio to prolific fashion designer Virgil Abloh and musical legend Lenny Kravitz in attendance, the event was history in the making.
The runway presentation featured Roitfeld's favourite pieces from the Fall Winter 2019 men's and women's collection. Notable designers include: Alexander Mcqueen, Alexander Wang, Aquazzurra, Balenciaga, Balmain, Bottega Veneta, Burberry, Christian Louboutin, Dior, Giambattista Valli, Gianvito Rossi, Giorgio Armani, Givenchy, Gucci, Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Jacobs, Margiela, Prada, Rodarte, Roger Vivier and Salvatore Ferragamo, to name a few. Each designer label showed up to two looks, some of which were designed specifically for the event. The clothes were modelled by the likes of Joan Smalls, Irina Shayk, Paris Jackson, Natasha Poly and Halima Aden.
The CR Runway X Luisa Via Roma Show helmed a whopping 3,700 guests whom were treated to a special performance by Kravitz. It's one of the biggest fashion presentations and is symbolic of fashion's changing times. Click through to see our favourite looks and highlights from the event.
