Now that the party season is over, it's back to real life for most of us. While we're packing away the fancy dinner ware, Christmas tree, and holiday souvenirs, it doesn't mean that our party separates have to be tucked away at the back of the wardrobe.

Here are some inspirations on how to rework your party pieces into your everyday look. Let's just say crisp shirts, denims, and sneakers will never fail us.

VELVET

Don't be afraid to let the plush fabric be the centrepiece of your ensemble—with a purposefully off-duty spin, of course. Team the luxe number with our favourite casual pieces such as sneakers, slides and graphic t-shirts for that pared down (but not really) street style vibe.

SEQUINS

Ah, here's our go-to party number! Continue to let the glistering discs shine by marrying them with key essential pieces—think sweaters, blazers, a neutral bag, and low-heeled pumps. Now we're Kirakira-ready for the office and streets as well.

METALLIC

Probably the most subtle holiday piece of them all, metallic separates are easy to pull off even way after the holidays. Team yours with a crisp white shirt and heels for an office-appropriate ensemble, or a boyfriend denim jeans for that truly "I don't care that this top is reflecting the sun in your eyes" look, and simply with a cropped top and sweater for a model-approved atheleisure outfit. Easy, does it?

SHEER

While you definitely need cute bras and undies when wearing these completely see-through separates, you only need what you already have in your wardrobe to work the off-duty look. While denims and leather jackets are your best bet, don't be afraid to try them with tweed or checks.
