When you think of the concept of a shoe encyclopedia, you realise that it's one of those things that seem so essential you wonder why it hasn't been done before. Swiss fashion brand Bally has obviously thought of that question pretty often, and, given its expertise in the craft of making shoes, has created an online repository of everything shoe-related.
From the art of shoe making to shoe care and a glossary of shoe terms (have you even heard of sipes? Well, now you have), the extensive library of shoe knowledge is nothing short of comprehensive and engaging. What's more: You can also enter the world of Bally by snapping photos of your Bally-clad feet and submitting them to the 'Shoepedia' via the hashtag #BallySelfeet to be featured on the brand's social wall.
