Topping the list of many a best dressed list at the 80th Golden Globes, actress Ana de Armas shined bright in a sleek custom Louis Vuitton gown with a train of pleated black silk. Harper's BAZAAR Singapore has exclusive images behind the making of this gorgeous gown, from its conception as a sketch all the way to the intricate embroidery of the structured front panel on the front of the dress.

The strapless bustier gown took over 150 hours to make, requiring roughly 25 metres of black silk and 800 sequins. Initially conceived as a two-piece dress with a graphic pattern, the 3D sequins in the front contrast with the fluidity of the silk train running down the back, adding more volume and dimension to the gown's silhouette.
