While many of us were hibernating this weekend, counting every sheet of two-ply, scrolling through sage Instagram accounts, and watching everything Netflix has to offer (March is lacking in good new programming, FYI), Jennifer Lopez was doing the absolute most. Granted, she had a reason to step outside, celebrating her first year of betrothal to former New York Yankee and TikTok partner Alex Rodriguez.
“The best is yet to come,” she wrote on her Instagram account. “And what a dream it all is and will always be. Te amo, Amor.”

Cue the awws. Then, cue your jaw to drop as you eyeball her outfit that was all kinds of fierce. The 50-year-old entertainment force (and virtual fountain of youth) was snapped looking snatched as she walked out of the San Vicente Bungalows, a private members club in Los Angeles that evidently hosts A-list celebs and the upper crust. Indeed, it is a tony venue, which means loungewear, however chic, ain’t going to fly. It is where Chanel suits, Alaïa heels, and cool jewelry are de rigueur, and J.Lo, never faltering from prescribed dress codes, certainly checked all those boxes.

Her black-and-white tweed jacket and floor-grazing, high-waisted trousers by the storied French maison were given a funky spin with her gold hoops by Jennifer Fisher, heeled boots by Cher Horowitz’s favorite designer, and white-haute bodysuit by Naked Wardrobe. Factor in her hunky piece of arm candy, and we’d, too, be more inclined to trade the remote control and pint of rocky road for the risk of stepping outdoors.
