Julia Fox seems to have a thing for high-risk, high-fashion pants.

Her bombshell street style has recently included showstopping thong pants by Miaou and a pair of Diesel jeans with built-in boots. Now, during her latest outing with beau Kanye West—for which the two spent the night with Madonna, Evan Ross, and other stars at Los Angeles’s Delilah—the Uncut Gems star wore dangerously low leather bottoms.

Technically, the pants were part of a set worn with an extremely cropped black leather turtleneck. Her accessories included a pair of black patent-leather high-heeled boots and her signature black gloves. She also carried the same mini Balenciaga Hourglass bag that she sported during previous dates with West, who was recently announced to be teaming up with the luxury Parisian fashion house, along with Gap, for a first-of-its-kind launch.

The ensemble follows a string of risqué date night looks since the two first met in Miami on New Year’s Eve. On a date in New York City last week, the actress paired the aforementioned thong pants with a Balenciaga nylon mock turtleneck and two statement coats: a blue velvet Sies Marjan coat and a long black leather trench.

In another appearance, this time in L.A. earlier this week, Fox emulated the best of biker grunge in a leather corseted claw jacket from the autumn/winter 2021 collection of London-based label KNWLS.

Leather is a mainstay in Fox’s wardrobe, according to a 2019 interview with InStyle. “I like a lot of leather, black leather. I like a boot with a heel,” she said at the time. “Kind of ’90s but not too much where it’s like ironic. It’s just chill. I love leather trench coats … I would say [my style is] pretty easy, relaxed. Like I don’t really go all out, and I’m not trendy. I don’t jump on trends and then go buy like the new hot thing. I’m pretty comfortable and like just keeping it simple.”
