Today, Kanye West's Sunday Service has arrived at Paris Fashion Week. The recording artist hosted the event at Theatre des Bouffes du Nord in the French capital this morning with a select number of fashion insiders in attendance.

Editors including New York Times critic Vanessa Friedman and Vanity Fair's Joseph Ghosn shared glimpses from inside the venue where West has gathered a choir to sing gospel versions of his songs. "The fashion people have never been this excited at 9:40 am on Sunday morning in Paris," Friedman quipped.

One video shared on Twitter shows Kim Kardashian clapping alongside Balmain designer Olivier Rousteing. She was seen arriving at the service earlier today dressed in a full-body latex suit from Balmain’s autumn/winter 2020 collection, which hit the Paris runway mere days ago. Kim was accompanied by daughter North in a matching outfit as well as sister Kourtney.

And there's more Kanye buzz to come. A surprise show for Yeezy Season 8 is scheduled to take place on Monday, with invitations landing late on Saturday night. It will round off a busy day of shows, including Stella McCartney, Giambattista Valli, and Alexander McQueen.

So what can we expect this season? With past shows spanning from Roosevelt Island to Madison Square Garden, the rapper-turned-fashion designer knows how to put on a dazzling event. In recent years, his trademark bulky trainers and nude-coloured ensembles have dominated the collections while the likes of Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid have arrived to show their support. If this morning's build-up is anything to go by, it's sure to be a spectacle.
