For her latest eyewear collection, Karen Walker turned to David Hockney for inspiration, redoing some of her signature frames in turquoises, aquas, sky blues, pinks and apricots. "I love the color blocking and the flatness of Hockney's work as well as the actual colors themselves – the saturated blue on blue on blue!," Walker explains, " Also, the way in which he captured the translucency of water I love and that's why we've used very pale lenses in many of the styles."
