Kate Spade’s signature spade motif is familiar to many, in the form of prints or embellishments on bags and clothes, or as delicate little charms on necklaces and earrings. Now, the spade is getting supersized – as the shape for the interior of the first global Kate Spade pop-up store, which will open from March 11th – 24th right here in Singapore.

The pop-up store, which will be located on Level 1 in ION Orchard, will be the first Kate Spade retail space created under the artistic direction of creative director Nicola Glass. Glass infused the original codes of the brand into the bright and feminine store design, while mirroring the optimistic mood of her runway show in New York for the Spring/Summer 2019 season. “I am excited to see this concept come to life in Singapore.  The Spade is such a special symbol for the brand and I love this execution of our iconic logo.  It is a true representation of the new brand vision and I cannot wait for the Singapore customers to come experience the Spring collection in person,” she said.

With its iconic spade silhouette and the sunny colour palette, the pop-up store is an Instagram photo-op just waiting to happen. Inside, you will find Kate Spade’s Spring 2019 ready-to-wear collection, amidst an offering of bags, small leather goods, accessories and jewellery, and notably: a Southeast Asia limited edition bag which you can even personalize in store on March 15th and 16th.
