Kristen Stewart, Nicole Kidman, And Tessa Thompson Attend Chanel's Pre-Oscar Dinner

Chanel threw their annual pre-Oscars fête last night in Los Angeles, and nearly every star in Hollywood was on the guest list.

Among the guests were Kristen Stewart and Nicole Kidman, who were photographed chatting on the red carpet. Tessa Thompson, Marion Cotillard, Andrew Garfield, Brie Larson, Camila Morrone, Lily James, Ariana DeBose, Whitney Peak, Jonathan Majors, and Michael B. Jordan were also there.

Hosted by the luxury house and Charles Finch, the intimate dinner took place in the iconic Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

For the occasion, Stewart wore a striking see-through knit set, comprised of a black sleeveless top with strategic open stitching and matching shorts, both pieces embellished with black and silver sequins. The house ambassador and Spencer star went sans jewelry for the sparkling ensemble, finishing the look with white ankle socks and black lace-up boots. She kept her glam just as simple, with tousled wet-look hair, a subtle smokey eye, and a nude lip.

Kidman went with an edgier spin on the classic tweed skirt suit, wearing a sparkling blue and black jacket over a matching backless minidress embellished with black silk tulle fabric. Her accessories included navy bow-adorn pumps by Roger Vivier, black sheer tights, and an array of pearl and diamond Mikimoto jewelry, including a long, bow-accented pearl necklace and drop earrings.

The Oscar winner wore her blonde hair in a loose high ponytail, paired with rosy blush and a matching lip.

Thompson's ensemble was comprised of satin aquamarine double-breasted trench coat, featuring pointed lapels and matching blue-green buttons with the house's interlocking CC logo. She wore the trench as a gown over sheer black tights and black pointed toe heels, adding a white mini flap bag. As for accessories, the Creed III star wore several white gold and diamond rings and earrings, as well as a black diamond-studded choker reading Chanel, which looked striking paired with her simple updo and dark nude lip.
